  1. Lovely - we have little birds like these in NZ! I tried to take a similar photo but because I have no zoom he ended up a dot in amongst leaves and twigs...so Im jealous of this one! How long did it take to get this one! Birds are so fickle...
    It frustrates me that his tail is cut off...maybe that was deliberate?

  2. Yeah Perry, that's awesome, especially with a 100mm lens. I think that little dude is a thrush of some sort though.

  3. Thanks Ashley! I need all the help I can get with identifying these little ones. Exactly why I put this up. I tried to google it but I didn't have any luck. You gave me a good starting point though. Thanks again.
