Lovely - we have little birds like these in NZ! I tried to take a similar photo but because I have no zoom he ended up a dot in amongst leaves and twigs...so Im jealous of this one! How long did it take to get this one! Birds are so fickle...

Yeah Perry, that's awesome, especially with a 100mm lens. I think that little dude is a thrush of some sort though.
