This was taken at about 5:30am. I stumbled upon this place late one evening and came back for sunrise the next morning. Canon 5D, EF 24-105 f/4L IS USM, f/18 @ 30 sec, ISO 200, Circular polarizer and Singh-Ray 2-stop hard-edge grad filter.

ReplyDeleteLove this one because of the sharp curved rocks, which the light on the edge of each seems to accentuate. Their sharp image contrasts with the blanket of blurring mist. Then the darkness in the foreground compared with the gorgeous breaking light combined with the distinct line of the horizon - all very cool!
Your photographs are breath-taking. Please never stop. Are they for sale?
